Woodland House Bed and Breakfast Fort William

Woodland House is a bed and breakfast run by a local lass. it is situated about 500 yards off the A82 about 2 miles north of Fort William.It is set in the lush and quiet country side surrounding Fort William. The house has recently been refurbished and boasts comfortable beds and pretty decor. The back drop of the house is Ben Nevis.The River Lundy runs along the back of the house.. It is family friendly. It is one of the few places in the area that can comfortably accommodate disabled persons with wheelchair access and a bedroom fulled kitted out for disabled use. There is an abundance of parking outside the property that would comfortably accommodate larger vehicles and towing trailors. The house is pet friendly. From the house there is an abundance of walks including the ascent of the North Face of Ben Nevis.There is a cycle path from the house that takes you directly into town.

From Glasgow by Car - you drive on the A82 to Fort William. Exit Fort William and continue on the A82 towards Inverness for about one mile. you will notice a turn off for Inverlochy castle on your left hand side. continue on the A82. We are the next turn off on your left. accordingly you will take that left off the a82. you will drive along a single track tarred road. you will pass the factors house restaurant . drive along the single track road and keep right the whole time. you will see signs for the woodland house and thistle cottage . we are the last house after thistle cottage.By bustake Bus from Glasgow to Fort William. At Fort William continue on bus to Torlundy .At the the Factors House, exit bus. walk down road to Woodland House.From EdinburghDrive the A9 to Dalwhinnie. At Dalwhinnie drive to Spean Bridge. At Spean Drive drive approximately 8 miles to Fort William. Drive through Torlundy for about 300yards, take a right off the A82 at the Factors House. Follow single track tarred road to Woodland House.From InvernessDrive along the A82 to Spean Bridge.At Spean Bridge continue along the A82 for 8 miles.
