Thistle Cottage is situated in a quiet rural location approximately 3 miles north of Fort William off the A82. Upon arriving at the property you will receive a warm highland welcome from the owner, Morag who has been running the bed and breakfast from 1969. There is ample parking outside the property. The bedrooms are spacious comfortable and cosy. The house is family friendly and pet friendly.The backdrop of the property consists of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. The Fort William Golf Club is approximately half a mile away from the property. We are approximately 3 miles from the nevis range ski and mountain bike activities.

Directions

By car from the south - A82 to Fort William. We are 3 miles north of Fort William on the A82 towards Inverness. You will see the Fort William golf club on your right. continue driving. you will see Inverlochy Castle on your left. take the next left off the A82 into Happy Valley. Then follow the signs to Thistle Cottage.By car from the north - take the A82 from Spean Bridge towards Fort William. After about 6 miles you will see Torlundy sign on your left. then take the second turn off to your right. you will see signs for thistle cottage . continue to follow them to reach thistle cottageBy train from Edinburgh or Glasgow via he West Highland line. you will arrive at Fort William Railway Station. Continue to Thistle Cottage by taxi or bus. the taxi rank and bus station are located directly outside the railway station.
